NAN utilizes a proprietary matching process that is based on 30 years of nanny agency experience. We take into consideration many factors; your skills, experience, personality, availability and location. We listen carefully to what you would like to get from your NAN experience. These are some of the things we consider when finding you a great match. As soon as we’ve found a family that we believe will be the right fit for you, your Family Experience Coordinator will get in touch to go over the family’s particular situation.
Our goal is to place you as quickly as possible but to also ensure that it will be a family you will be deeply committed to over the course of the mom’s cancer journey. NAN usually has a waitlist of families who need our help. Once you have met all of the requirements to be a Nanny Angel, including your training, we work quickly to find you a family. If we are unable to match you with a NAN family, the Family Experience Coordinator will talk to you about possible barriers to placement. This may mean that you might be willing to travel a bit farther or be a bit more flexible with your availability. If your schedule or availability changes at any point, please inform the Family Experience Coordinator.
