Keep yourself and the children in your care safe. If you feel uncomfortable, unsafe or witness domestic abuse, remove yourself from the location, with the children if necessary, and notify the Child Life Specialist immediately. If you feel the children are in danger call 911 immediately. If you feel that what you have witnessed in the home warrants a report to Child Protective Services, you may wish to consult with NAN’s Child Life Specialist for assistance.
